Mike currently has two roles within Siemens: most recently as Sustainability Director for Siemens UK, in which role he champions Siemens' response to its customers' sustainability requirements across all sectors. In addition, after ten years as Divisional Director leading Siemens' new-build CCGT, CHP and renewables activities in the UK, Mike moved to a sector-wide role for business development in Siemens' Energy Sector, including liaison with external organisations and government.

Before joining Siemens, Mike was UK Sales Director for Alstom Energy, having held a number of positions in GEC Alsthom for large combined cycle and CHP plants. As Head of Power Projects at Electrowatt Engineering Services, he worked on combined cycle projects in Malaysia and the Gulf states as well as on long term generation and transmission planning studies.

A Chartered Mechanical Engineer, Mike is also a director of the Energy Industries Council, a member of DECC's Renewables Advisory Board and immediate past Chairman of the Combined Heat and Power Association.
