Green IT 09 will bring together senior level IT & business decision makers predominantly from large UK based Enterprise organisations and the Public Sector who are developing an overall Green Corporate strategy. The development of the conference programme and subsequent marketing campaign will be undertaken to target 4 distinct role groups:

- Strategic Business: CEO, COO, Managing Director
- Environmental & Facilities Management Chief Green Officer, Chief Energy Officer, Head of Environmental Sustainability, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Head of Facilities Management, Facilities Director/ Manager
The types of organisations in attendance will represent early adopter enterprise organisations and typically will be those who represent a High, (Transportation, Manufacturing) or Medium, (Financial Services, Retail) environmental risk category as a company. As a consequence, they will be keen to demonstrate, or are being forced by consumer and shareholder pressure to adopt more environmentally conscious policies.
